Try Again

Underneath the starry skies an ancient truth does here lie. It is not that of steel or stone. It is one simply of flesh and bone. It is made up of light and dark. A place where angels come to flock. A place where demons are free to walk. A truth that is hidden in the depths of the sea and found only in the eyes of you and me. Four lettered affection is its name. Five letters easily broken are the barriers in this game. Once lost it is never the same. Once earned again it must always be maintained. Hope guides you for its lofty quest. When it shatters you feel its sting within your breast. What was broken can be forged anew. The choice is only up to me and you. Choose lightly you can not for it is something that can never be bought. Earned in time it shall be if only it you choose to see. So take the risk and cast the stone lest you are content to remain alone. For if you choose that which has no ease the reward shall be worth ten lives such as these. Two in one and one in two that is the only way it will not abandon you. Time has passed and each has learned. Now each must claim what they have yearned.

The Soundtracks to My Life

I realized today how big a part music plays in my life. The world was so mundane. I mean straight boring today. The sounds of my life really define my moods and my actions everyday. I forgot my headphone in the morning and the rest of the day was just pure madness. It doesn't make today's suck go away completely but my music does complete me. Thank you to all my favourite artists and thank you to God for the gifts of hearing and music.

Basketball Colors

I had an interesting experience today. Jo, her sisters and I were playing in the park with two children of a family friend. The young boy and I went and shit some hoops on the nearby basketball court. We had a good time. The little snot can trash talk. He told me that my favorite basketball player, Kobe Bryant, sucks and that Steph Curry  was better. He also likes Ronaldo in soccer. We had a disagreement because I'm a Messi fan. It was all in good fun. He even invited me to his birthday party (just so I can buy him Ray Ban glasses of course). All of a sudden he stopped and sat down on the ball. He looks up at me and sighs, "I like your hair." Now my hair is a mess at this point.
