The night, oh the night. Such bliss and beauty is the night, The clear heavens twinkle with stars eager light, Venus winks at me at her delight, Such few things inspire me on sight The night, the night. I stare at your majesty with childhood fright, And wonder what it is about tonight, That makes me feel such delight, The chaos of the blackness just seems right, To appreciate such a sight reminds me that I am human, And everything will be alright.
